MAKE AN IMPACT.

Becoming someone who can make anti-racist decisions and advocate for racial justice takes time. We can only find the change we aspire to on the slow road. It is a journey enriched by relationships, solidarity, and ongoing learning and unlearning. 

 

We want to connect with you and others on the slow road. Together, we can challenge and encourage each other to grow. Together, we can learn how to listen to communities of color in a way that invites collaboration, solidarity, and effective advocacy so we can leave behind old "do it my way" solutions.

This Association was formerly known as the European Descent Lutheran Association for Racial Justice (EDLARJ). We voted at our March 2024 Triennial Gathering to change our name to the ELCA Association of White Lutherans for Racial Justice

to better reflect our identity as white Lutherans

moving toward racial justice.
